How to Infuse a Dragon - and It Probably Won't Happen

Sat Mar 23, 2019 11:51 pm

I learned from AoC Customer Service today that it takes 20 divine baby dragons to Infuse your working dragon! And of course those 20 divine baby dragons would each need to have the Blessed characteristic you are looking for.

I am guessing that it would take the average user five years to accumulate those 20 divine baby dragons. I think the developers need to rethink this protocol.

they divine dragons dont need any characteristics, you just use them and get the 5%, no matter what spells they have themselves.

What 5%? Twenty divine baby dragons equals a 5% increase in the maximum level for an ability?

The documentation for Infusion seems to be almost non-existent.

no, it takes 20 divine dragons to upgrade an ability from being capped at lvl 72 to being capped at lvl 100.

I still don't understand the 5% you are referring to. Do you mean that the infusion process goes in 5% steps from Level 72 to Level 100?

If that is the case then infusion is simply not working for me. I have one untrained divine baby dragon - and a divine ancestral dragon - and I cannot do any infusion at all.

you need 20 divine dragons to upgrade one ability from 72 --> 100, you can only do it in one step. you can not upgrade an ability to lvl 84 for example.
since 1 / 20 is 5% that means one dragon is 5% of what you need to upgrade one ability from 72 --> 100.

Yes I understand this now, and I have now confirmed this for myself. Before the latest patch I released my divine baby dragon and following the patch it came back to me as an essence that I was actually able to use. The Infusion did not work with the baby dragon, but as an essence it worked perfectly, giving me a 5% step in the infusion process, as you describe it. Thank you.
