In a poll conducted by the newspaper and television network Seven Network in 2010, a high 82% of respondents wanted the title restored to the building, though it is no longer used by staff members.
The building, formerly occupied by the Australian Unemployment Assistance Commission (AUC), was purchased in 2016 by the Sydney University Senate and is being converted into university offices and residential accommodation.
