Nowadays, many of us are hearing about the content writing and copywriting field and its growing prominence in the world. Copywriting has existed for a long time and previously, it was more concerned with writing promotional content or ‘copy’ for advertising and marketing agencies. Fast forward to today and you will realize that the field is much more now and the value of content writers has grown a lot, thanks to the rise of Digital Marketing.
However, being a writer myself, sometimes I notice that many people still undervalue writing especially in the subcontinent, and equate it to as just ‘writing’. They will hire freshies or some people who have done some kind of buy affordable assignment writing work and will ask them to produce the content for their sites, social media, and other promotional activities. They fail to understand that the quality of the content has a direct impact on the return-on-investment as well.
