Suggestion - Allow Me to Choose How Many Units to Put in Garrison

Thu Nov 02, 2017 4:07 am

Scenario: I have 24 gold archers and I have one gold troop vacancy and make a 25th archer. I would like to put only 1 archer into my garrison so I can start building a group of 24 in the garrison

Problem: There is one one slot for gold archers to put into the garrison, the unit count is 25. When I select the gold archer slot, it moves the entire amount allowed (24) to the garrison leaving my 1 gold archer in my army

Suggestion: I would suggest that you allow us the ability to move whatever amount of units into the garrison. If I have 25 gold archers, I want to be able to select any number from 1 - 25 to put into my garrison.

Please implement this! Thanks for your consideration.

This is indeed something that needs to be done. Will pass the feedback to the team.
Thanks!

You can lend the 24 archer group to someone and then you can put just the one in your wall.
Not ideal, but a temporary workaround.

i think a separate build button would solve this problem in a better way. we can keep one building queue for offense and defense, but a button like "garrison build" which ignores gold caps and moves units directly to the wall once the build is finished would be amazing.

otherwise we will always struggle to have additional gold caps free to even create more wall units.

That is a really good idea! Especially with all the temporary unit cap buffs in the game like duke/Prince/advisor. I can’t count how many times I’ve been stuck with a cap like 65/50 and my only option is to sacrifice an entire pack of golds, otherwise my gems stockpile and my garrison suffers.

Build direct to garrison would indeed be excellent. Realize though, that will cause there to be even less plunder, as people often build up resources due to cap issues.
